THE STATE COMMITTEE FOR COMMUNICATIONS OF UKRAI

Denomination of services rendered: Delivery, adjustment, commissioning and function maintenance of program and technical equipment complex of an information network at the State Committee for Communications of Ukraine.

Date of the system launching: September of 1998

Brief performance specifications of the System and the List of tasks fulfilled:

• Assembly of the distributive subsystem and the 5th category workplace subsystems on the base of an unshielded twisted pair cable (FTP) in the premises owned by the State Committee for Communications of Ukraine located at vul. Khreshchatik, 22 (over 150 workplaces);

• Connection of an active network-forming equipment (CISCO router and switchboard, 3Com concentrators, RAD modems);

• Hookup of the information system owned by the State Committee for Communications of Ukraine to the Internet and Ukrtelecom corporate networks;

• Tuning and adjustment of the main server belonging to the State Committee for Communications of Ukraine;

• Adjustment of network services: e-mail server, FTP, DNS, WWW, Intranet, etc.

The basic hard- and software used in course of the System development and installation

• Hardware produced by these firms was used: CISCO, 3Com, Victron, RAD, Alcatel.

• Software installed is made by: Microsoft Windows NT Server, WinGate 2.x for Windows NT, Microsoft Exchange;

• The structured cable system applied: Alcatel.
